While applying for a job we have to attach our Resume along with a Cover Letter
• Cover Letter should be less than 1 page long
• It explains to
the hiring manager why you are an ideal candidate for the job
Key points we should remember while writing a cover letter(CL) are:
•Language should be simple,
correct and in respectful tone
•Address
the letter to the person in charge of hiring
•Be
specific, i.e. mention the post applying for
•Divide the CL into Paragraphs
with separate ideas
•Reflect
your familiarity with the company
•Project
a special skill/talent suitable for the job
•Avoid
statements already there in your resume
• Close the CL with a Word
